How Do You Celebrate National Chocolate Day?

Ah another fun food holiday involving chocolate, in fact this one, Sisters and Brothers is all about chocolate.  No limitations this time, no added ingredients for you to find, no restrictions on the form your chocolate can take.

Today you can be as creative or as mundane as you wish to be because today is "National Chocolate Day!"

If you'll recall, one of our Challengers for this Halloween Treat contest we host every year was a bulk candy company called CandyFavorites.com.   We featured the chocolate samples they sent us but then we have a lot of other candy left over.  I used three sample packs (10-15 candy corns a piece) from three brands in brownies in honor of today and in honor of the forthcoming creepy holiday.  I'm including both photos below -- one with flash, one with out.  Hey!  Any company out there that would like me to try their digital camera who thinks their product can help me take better photos, drop me an email.

As you can see, the amount of candy corn was small compared to the three types of chocolate in this Kroger store brand mix I used -- chocolate dry mix, chocolate chunks, and a fudge sauce you put on top then mixed around with a knife.  This gave a new taste to the brownies but didn't overwhelm it.  Every now and then you could see a candy corn as well.

I want to hear from you all.   What type, what form and what ingredients did your chocolate include today?  Did you make it or buy it?
